Discovered on 30 January 1992 by E. W. Elst at La Silla.
Mayré Adriana Martínez Blanco (b. 1978) is a professional singer who uses the rare flageolet register. The Academia El Arte de Cantar, which she founded in 2001, was soon recognized as the best singing academy in Venezuela.
