(15752) Eluard Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 30 January 1992 by E. W. Elst at La Silla.

French poet Paul Eluard (Eugène Grindel, 1895-1952) played an important role in the surrealistic movement. His early poems are colored by fervent pacifism (Poèmes de la Paix), but his greatness comes from the inspiration of his muses, particularly his second wife Nush (Capitale de la douleur, 1926).Naming citation (20070402/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
