(7292) Prosperin Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 1 March 1992 by UESAC at La Silla.

Erik Prosperin (1739-1803), professor in astronomy at Uppsala Observatory during 1773-1798, calculated the orbits of many comets and was also interested in the orbit of the then recently discovered first minor planet, (1) Ceres.Naming citation (20020328/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
