Okayama Daianji Secondary School was the first secondary school in Okayama, Japan. Its name derives from the area having been an estate of the Daianji temple in Nara, inheriting its traditions of scholarship. Based on the spirit of “Shitei-Dougyou” (teachers and students learning together), students develop inquiring minds and problem-solving skills.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 6, #15, 16), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
