Eliot F. Young (b. 1962), of the Southwest Research Institute, Boulder, Colorado, studies volatile transport on outer-solar-system bodies. He has used the mutual events between Pluto and Pluto I (Charon) to determine their radii and to derive albedo and color maps of Pluto.Discovered 2 April 2000 by LONEOS, Anderson Mesa
