(12115) Robertgrimm Outer Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 16 September 1998 by CSS at Catalina.

Robert Grimm (b. 1960) is a planetary geophysicist. His thermal models led to the first mathematical representations of fluid flow on meteorite parent bodies and to a greater understanding of the thermal and collisional evolution of minor planets, including the heliocentric zonation of the main belt.Naming citation (20100330/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
