(20013) Nureyev Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 11 September 1991 by H. E. Holt at Palomar.

Rudolf Nureyev (1938–1993) was a Russian-born ballet dancer, director, and choreographer. In 1961 he became the first Soviet artist to defect to the West, where he was considered by many the greatest male ballet dancer since Vaslav Nijinsky. His influence on ballet has been compared to that made on opera by the renowned Maria Callas.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 4, #5, 5), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
