(27049) Kraus Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 18 September 1998 by R. A. Tucker at Goodricke-Pigott.

Adam Levi Kraus (b. 1980) has developed a data-processing pipeline for the MOTESS survey instrument that has revealed thousands of new variable stars and transient events. His skillfully implemented algorithms have greatly speeded the examination of hundreds of gigabytes of imagery data.Naming citation (20031110/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
