(13018) Geoffjames Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 10 April 1988 by E. F. Helin at Palomar.
Deputy manager for earth sciences, Geoffrey K. James (b. 1956) has provided outstanding support for minor-planet programs at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His experimental and theoretical research in electron scattering has led to the establishment of a unique high-resolution vacuum ultraviolet spectrometer facility.Naming citation (20020724/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
