(131763) Donatbanki Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 11 January 2002 by Sarneczky, K., Heiner, Z. at Piszkesteto.

Donát Bánki (1859-1922) was a Hungarian mechanical engineer, coinventor of the carburetor in 1893. In 1898 he invented the high-compression engine with a dual carburetor. Some sources say that the idea of the carburetor came from a flower-girl, sprinkling water onto her flowers by blowing spray from her mouth.Naming citation (20090209/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
