(32853) Dobereiner Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 21 September 1992 by Borngen, F., Schmadel, L. D. at Tautenburg.

Johann Wolfgang Döbereiner (1780-1849), professor of chemistry at Jena and creator of the first chemical educational laboratory, was a lifelong friend of Goethe.
