(10803) Caleyo Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 21 October 1992 by T. Seki at Geisei.

Jose M. Caréyo (b. 1938) is a jazz composer living in Havana. Inspired by the striking image of comet C/1965 S1 (Ikeya-Seki) on its approach to the sun, he improvised music that vividly depicts the remarkable sunbound comet and sent the score to the two discoverers.Naming citation (20081113/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
