Sjoerd Hardeman (1982-2011) was a member of the Jongeren WerkGroep voor sterrenkunde (Dutch Youth Association for astronomy). He was a leader on several astronomy holiday camps and gave many presentations on astronomy. He died from leukemia shortly before defending his PhD.Discovered 16 October 1977 by van Houten, C.
