Rolland Noël de Tilly (1906–1983) was a leader in the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Centre de Montréal, for many years. He wrote for Les Cercles de Jeunes Naturalistes under the pen-name “l'Ami des Etoiles.” He received the Prix Georgette Le Moyne in 1972. The Astronomical Society of France presented him with the Medaille Camille Flammarion.Discovered 16 September 1987 by H. Debehogne, La Silla
