Kazimieras Zdanavi膷ius (b. 1938) is a leading researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy in Vilnius. A specialist in stellar photometry and classification, with V. Strai啪ys he established the Vilnius photometric system. He also studies Galactic structure, atmospheric extinction and minor planets.Discovered 5 October 2002 by K. Cernis, Palomar
