Hilmar W. Duerbeck (b. 1948) is an astronomer working at Hoher List (Bonn), M眉nster (Westphalia) and Brussels. His research is primarily directed toward eclipsing binary and variable stars (dwarf novae). He is also author of the Reference Catalogue of Galactic Novae.Discovered 26 September 1989 by E. W.
