At the University of Pisa, Germano D'Abramo (b. 1973) studied the statistics of mutual collisions. Since November 1998 he has collaborated with the Spaceguard Foundation in maintaining the Spaceguard Central Node and working on modeling the near-Earth-object population.Discovered 1 January 2000 by Boattini, A., Tombelli, M., San Marcello
