Jean-Eudes Arlot (b. 1948) is the current director of the Institut de M茅canique C茅leste in Paris and chair of the IAU Commission 20 working group on satellites. He has worked on a theory of the motions of Jupiter's Galilean satellites and organized international campaigns to observe the mutual phenomena of these bodies.Discovered 17 March 1999 by ODAS, Caussols
