(20765) Yifeijiao Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 7 May 2000 by LINEAR at Socorro.

Yifei Jiao (b. 1998) is a Chinese planetary scientist currently at University of California at Santa Cruz. He works on impact physics and asteroid dynamics. He showed that the near-Earth asteroid (469219) Kamoʻoalewa was likely a spallation fragment originally ejected from the young Giordano Bruno impact crater on the Moon.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 6, #11, 37), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
