(3729) Yangzhou Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 1 November 1983 by Purple Mountain Observatory at Nanking.
Situated between the Yangtze and Huai rivers, Yangzhou is the location of China's earliest canal, dating back to 486 B.C.
