(29307) Torbernbergman Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 9 October 1993 by E. W. Elst at La Silla.
Swedish chemist and mineralogist Torbern Olof Bergman (1735-1784) developed a mineral classification scheme based on chemical characteristics and appearance. His Dissertation on Elective Attractions (1775) contains the largest chemical affinity table ever published.Naming citation (20090409/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
