Anthonie Tonnon (b. 1989) is a New Zealand musician. In 2018 a chance meeting between him and the discoverer of this asteroid after a concert led to the “Synthesized Universe” project, which merged Tonnon's music with immersive visualizations of the universe in planetaria in Dunedin and Auckland.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 1, #8, 6), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
