Discovered on 12 October 1995 by M. Tichy at Klet.

Terezín (Theresienstadt) was established as a walled fortress and garrison town by Habsburgs in 1780. It was never under direct siege. During World War II, the Nazis used Terezín as a ghetto, concentrating there tens of thousands of Jews from Czechoslovakia, as well as from other countries.Naming citation (20110715/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
