(32585) Tardivel Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 18 August 2001 by LONEOS at Anderson Mesa.

Simon Tardivel (b. 1987) is a French researcher at CNES (France). For his Ph.D. he developed precise dynamical models for the deployment and motion of rovers on asteroid surfaces. His interests also include study of the rotational fissioning of asteroids. Tardivel is a member of the DART mission team.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 3, #9, 27), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
