(31232) Slavonice Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 1 February 1998 by Ticha, J., Tichy, M. at Klet.

The pleasant historical town of Slavonice is located in the Three corners (Czech-Moravian-Austrian border). One can admire very rich figural sgraffito façades and diamond vaults. After 1600 there was no more construction, and Slavonice's renaissance style has therefore been preserved.Naming citation (20061109/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
