(29203) Schnitger Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 9 April 1991 by F. Borngen at Tautenburg.
Arp Schnitger (1648-1719) was the most important organ builder in northern Europe during the Baroque period. The Schnitger style and sound served as a model for other organ builders, and his instruments in the Hanseatic cities between Hamburg and Groningen were the largest of the time.Naming citation (20020427/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
