(100266) Sadamisaki Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 14 October 1994 by A. Nakamura at Kuma Kogen.
The Sadamisaki peninsula, in the westernmost part of the island of Shikoku, is the narrowest peninsula in Japan. Extending some 40-km from Yawatahama city toward the island of Kyushu, it separates the Seto Inland Sea from the Pacific Ocean. It is home to the Ikata Nuclear Power Plant.Naming citation (20080819/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
