(5258) Rhoeo Jupiter Trojan

Discovered on 1 January 1989 by Y. Oshima at Gekko.

Rhoeo was thrown in the ocean locked in a chest after her father learned she was pregnant. She was guided by Apollo, her lover, to the island of Delos where she gave birth to Anius, who later prophesied that the siege of Troy would go on for ten years.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 1, #1, 9), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
