(5366) Rhianjones Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 2 March 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring.

Rhian Jones (b. 1960) is an experimental and sample petrologist at the Institute of Meteoritics at the University of New Mexico. Her work has enhanced our understanding of processes by which chondrules were formed in the solar nebula and later modified by heat and fluids on minor planets.Naming citation (20020624/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
