(6314) Reigber Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 17 September 1990 by H. E. Holt at Palomar.
Christoph Reigber (b. 1939) has made essential contributions to the determination of the global gravity field using satellite observations, to the study of Earth kinematics using satellites, to atmospheric sounding using radio-occultation techniques, and to the development and operation of satellite missions.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2018-05-29), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
