(206265) Radian Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 11 December 2002 by LINEAR at Socorro.
The radian is a unit of angle in the International System of Units (SI). One radian is the angle subtended at the center of a circle by an arc that is equal in length to the radius. To the nearest integer, the number of this minor planet is the number of arcseconds in a radian and, consequently, also the number of astronomical units in a parsec.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 4, #13, 20), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
