(61042) Noviello Outer Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 25 May 2000 by LONEOS at Anderson Mesa.

Jessica Noviello (b. 1992) completed her Ph.D. research at Arizona State University studying surface features on Europa to discern its internal structure. She applies those skills in analyzing the morphology of the asteroid (101955) Bennu for the OSIRIS-REx mission.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 1, #2, 27), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
