(7724) Moroso Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 24 July 1970 by Felix Aguilar Observatory at El Leoncito.

For over 30 years Pascuala Moroso (1934-1996) and her husband, Rafael Villalobos (1930-1998), were in charge of the farm where the El Leoncito station was established in 1965. The help and support of the couple were essential during the site search, as well as during the first years of the observatory's operation.Naming citation (20070926/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
