(199953) Mingnaiben Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 18 April 2007 by PMO NEO Survey Program at XuYi.
Ming Naiben (b. 1935), a professor at Nanjing University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced the quasi-crystal structure in dielectric super-lattice, established the multiple quasi-phase-matching theory and realized frequency doubling and direct frequency tripling of light efficiently.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2013-07-22), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
