(17779) Migomueller Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 26 March 1998 by ODAS at Caussols.
German physicist Michael (“Migo”) Mueller (b. 1974) has advanced knowledge of the thermal properties of minor planets, including modeling the thermal behavior of an eclipsing binary. He determined the thermal inertia of a double minor planet from mid-infrared observations of mutual eclipses from the Spitzer Space Telescope.Naming citation (20070926/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
