(100924) Luctuymans Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 1 June 1998 by E. W. Elst at La Silla.

Belgian painter Luc Tuymans (b. 1958) is considered one of the most influential artists working today. His mostly monochromatic figurative paintings transform photographs, such as his Dachau analysis Gas Chamber (1986) and images from film and television, into examinations of history and memory.Naming citation (20101128/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
