(20492) Luanaliberato Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 16 July 1999 by LINEAR at Socorro.

Luana Liberato (b. 1994) is a Brazilian expert in solar-system dynamics. During her postdoc at the Cote d’Azur observatory, she established the first extensive list of candidate asteroid satellites by astrometry, exploiting data by the Gaia mission. She also chases stellar occultations, analyzes asteroid light curves, and is a passionate popularizer.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 6, #11, 23), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
