(17036) Krugly Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 22 March 1999 by LONEOS at Anderson Mesa.

Yurij N. Krugly (b. 1952), of the Institute of Astronomy, Kharkiv National University, is an unsurpassed observer of minor planets. He carried out photometric observation of more than 100 near-Earth asteroids, and, together with P. Pravec, discovered and investigated several binary systems.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 5, #28, 6), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
