(20438) Julievermersch Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 10 May 1999 by LINEAR at Socorro.

Julie Vermersch (b. 1998) is a French dynamicist who studies internal structures of small bodies, in particular main-belt asteroids (MBA). She derived various MBA geophysical parameters like friction angle, stress angle and strength to explain non-hydrostatic shapes. Her work helps determine the limit between dwarf planets and small bodies.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 6, #11, 20), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
