(170900) Jendrassik Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 11 November 2004 by K. Sarneczky at Piszkesteto.
The world's first turboprop was designed by the Hungarian mechanical engineer György Jendrassik (1898-1954). It was produced and tested in the Ganz factory in Budapest. Later on, Jendrassik improved gas turbines. The number of his inventions on record in Hungary is 77.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2014-01-16), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
