(32267) Hermannweyl Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 1 August 2000 by P. G. Comba at Prescott.

Hermann Weyl (1885-1955) was a German-American pure and applied mathematician. His work, from the study of the Riemann surface to the application of group theory to quantum mechanics, shows his ability to find connections between previously unrelated subjects.Naming citation (20020328/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
