(12134) Hansfriedeman Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 24 September 1960 by van Houten, C. J., van Houten-Groeneveld, I., Gehrels, T. at Palomar.
Dutch journalist Johannes Lambertus Maria (“Hans”) Friedeman (1937-1996) enthusiastically reported on space travel, science and the environment. In 1977 he started his own weekly page, and in 1981 this led to the first complete section on science and society in a Dutch newspaper.Naming citation (20071124/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
