(9024) Gunnargraps Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 5 September 1988 by H. Debehogne at La Silla.
Gunnar Graps (1951-2004) was a popular, hard rock, beat and blues style Estonian singer and musician, referred to as Raudmees (“Iron Man”). Graps was a rebellious pioneer in the new Soviet rock scene for disenfranchised youth in the early 1980s, and the first true-blood rock star in Estonia.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2017-06-09), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
