(541565) Gucklerkaroly Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 26 August 2011 by K. Sárneczky at Piszkesteto.

Károly Guckler (1858–1923) was a Hungarian forester, who is best known for the reforestation of the Hármashatár hill in Budapest. Because of the huge firewood demand of the capital, the hillsides were almost completely cleared. He planted undemanding pine trees to stabilize the ground before starting to replant native forest.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 1, #12, 10), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
