Discovered on 29 December 1989 by E. W. Elst at Haute Provence.

Enrique Granados (1867-1916) was a Spanish pianist and a composer of classical music in an uniquely Spanish style. Although his suite Goyescas is his most famous composition, the Allegro de Concierto (1911) is highly appreciated by every pianist.Naming citation (MPC batch dated 2015-07-02), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
