(23455) Fumi Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 5 December 1988 by T. Nakamura at Kiso.
Fumi Yoshida (b. 1966) is a Japanese astronomer who studies the small bodies of the solar system. In collaboration with the discoverer she made clear the overall nature of spatial and size distributions for subkilometer-sized main-belt minor planets with the 8.2-m Subaru telescope.Naming citation (20020624/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
