(210444) Frithjof Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 16 January 2009 by F. Hormuth at Calar Alto.

Frithjof Brauer (b. 1980) developed in his Ph.D. thesis the principles of dust coagulation and formation of planets beyond the meter size barrier. Apart from his contributions to science, he makes the life of his fellow human beings much brighter and bearable with wonderful piano improvisations and his open way with people.Naming citation (20090409/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
