(679552) Efspringer Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 31 October 2013 by K. Sárneczky M. Langbroek at Piszkesteto.

F. Springer was the pseudonym of the Dutch novelist and diplomat Carel Jan Schneider (1932–2011). Influenced by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Schneider's stories, written in an ironic observant style, are often situated in exotic locations and usually describe the overreach and demise of one of the main characters.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 4, #15, 13), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
