(58191) Dolomiten Main-belt Asteroid

Discovered on 28 December 1991 by F. Borngen at Tautenburg.

The Dolomiten is a mountain group with characteristic rocks formed of dolomitic limestone found in the Italian Alps. The highest point is the Marmolada (3342 m). The range takes its name from the French geologist Dolomieu (1750-1801), after whom the mineral dolomite was named.Naming citation (20031110/MPCPages.arc), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
