(27960) Dobias Main-belt Asteroid
Discovered on 21 September 1997 by L. Sarounova at Ondrejov.
Václav Dobiáš (1909–1978), Czech composer, organizer of musical life and pedagogue, educated a number of composers, including the discoverer's father. His cycle of songs “Praho jediná” (“Prague, the Only One”) is a beautiful apotheosis of the Czech city.Naming citation (WGSBN Bull. 3, #13, 10), IAU / Minor Planet Center, via NASA/JPL
